Changing the Approach to Movement

After over 2 decades in the fitness industry, I know what works and what doesn’t. A combination of different modalities is what has gotten my clients the best long-term results.

Holistic Nutrition

Nutrition is more important than our time together at the gym. I will make sure you clean up your diet as much as we are cleaning up your Form!

Multi-Discipline

My background includes professional dance, pilates, strength training, yoga and barre. I make sure to balance your workouts for long-term results.

Celeste is an International Master Trainer and Fitness Educator with Barre Intensity and has privately consulted Barre Studios & Teachers all around the world. She had her own fitness studio in Hawai’i and now trains clients one-on-one.

Why so many different Barre formats?

 
the four seasons of a woman's cycle are winter, spring, summer, and fall. When we are connected to our womb wisdom and follow the chart we are more attuned to our needs.
 
 

I love Barre classes and I also love my Menstrual Cycle!

I realized my workouts were not sustainable - either I was not getting results or I was but also burning out.

Until I learned about the different seasons of our Menstrual Cycle!!

I began to notice how each Inner-Season required very different needs when it came to working out…

I didn’t want crazy adrenal-rushing cardio while in menses (bleeding).

I didn’t want Classical barre while ovulating because it wasn’t challenging and motivating enough…

I wasn’t feeling supported mentally and verbally by instructors during Fall time (pre-menses) when the emotional body is on the surface and our body requires Self-love & Patience more than any other time...

So, I decided to make Conscious Movement, Cueing (How & What I say while teaching) and Presence the forefront of what Cycle-Synced Classes are all about!

Here’s what I experienced from this new way of Barre:


  • My energy increased.

  • I felt 'Better’ and more ‘accomplished’ with every workout I completed.

  • I felt more aligned with the choices I made outside of my workouts.

  • I felt better about my body, which means I got better results (because your thoughts truly determine your Reality!)

  • My mood improved. 

  • My relationship with food improved dramatically.

  • I became excited about what every season had to offer and no longer dreaded being in Fall or Winter (pre-menses & menses).

  • I began tapping deeper into the Wisdom of my Cycle and what it has to say to me every month.

  • I fell in love with my Period and with Working out all over again. 

  • I reclaimed the ability to see Workouts as Medicine VS. as a Chore 

  • I fell in LOVE with having Permission to Move and Sweat in the way that felt Right to Me!

Barre Flow

Adding some kick (higher energy) and dance flow to the mix. For Inner-Spring  - Pre-Ovulation

Barre Cardio

Bring on the Cardio and Challenges. For Inner- Summer - Ovulation

Barre Strength

Strength Training and Mindfulness with Optional Cardio for release. For inner-Fall  - Pre-Menses
